Forgotten

Forgotten is a film about two young women and their struggle for the right to a normal life. They both come from small villages where poverty and penury deprive people of their dignity, and where religion is the only hope. A forgotten world in the midst of revolutionary societal changes and brutal capitalism. A forgotten world in the middle of Europe. Two young women: Ania who is forced by her mother to go to the capital to save her family from starving. Gosia who has decided to go to the capital in order to save her mother from dying of cancer as she can't afford the necessary medication. A mystical journey. A journey that has taken place in all times and in all societies. A journey to a better place, with the hopes of finding the source of life. Two women starting from the same point, but with two completely different personalities and fates. A film about two young women in a brutal society, struggling to keep their soul and faith intact as they are forced to make vital decisions.
